Automation Engineering - Manufacturing Internship

Responsible to assist in all areas of the department, role will focus on learning and process improvement within assigned scopes.
Supports all areas of the business unit.
Assists with the resolution of quality issues.
Progress to a point of making contributions to the organization that would be comparable to those of a full time engineer
Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
Student enrolled full time at an accredited university pursuing a quality related career. Some applicable majors may include Applied Science – Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Packaging.
Ability to give, receive and analyze information, prepare written materials, and articulate action steps.
Ability to operate a computer and typical Microsoft Office systems (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

Regular attendance is required, may be required to work some overtime.Normal office environment.

May be some exposure to vibrations, noise and chemical odors.
