Registered Nurse (RN)- Rehab Nursing (full-time,nights)

Registered Nurse – Night Shift Mary Free Bed at Covenant Hospital, Saginaw, Michigan – Night shift from 7p.m.–7a.m., 36hours per week. Compensation starts at $32.05 per hour and rises with experience. Eligible for full‑time benefits, yearly pay increases, PTO, and a 403(b) retirement fund. Up to $12,000 sign‑on bonus available.

Responsibilities Provide all nursing care for rehabilitation patients, following patient‑centered plans of care.

Conduct assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt plans to each patient’s age‑specific needs.

Delegate and supervise non‑licensed staff, ensuring compliance with policy and standard procedures.

Participate in quality‑improvement activities: reporting incidents, near‑misses, performing audits, and implementing corrective actions.

Promote patient safety by identifying hazards, following safety initiatives, and communicating risks to leadership.

Deliver exemplary customer service, recognizing cultural and religious needs, resolving conflicts, and maintaining professional behavior.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians and other clinicians to ensure coordinated care.

Assist in staff selection, orientation, and mentoring of new team members.

Qualifications Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan.

Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor preferred). RN Rehab certification preferred; BLS required.

Previous experience in rehabilitation or acute‑care settings preferred.

Strong critical‑thinking, decision‑making, delegation, leadership, time‑management and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under time pressure, handle interruptions, and prioritize tasks.

Physical Demands Stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, and rise frequently while performing patient care.

Carry or move objects up to 35pounds occasionally; 10‑25pounds frequently.

Use hands and arms to handle, feel, and manipulate equipment and patients.

Type, read, write, and use computers for documentation.

Exposed to blood‑borne pathogens and hazardous materials; must comply with safety policies.
