Supplier Quality Engineer I

Location: On‑site, Chaska, MN. Reports to Supplier Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance.

Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence.

Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier‑caused manufacturing issues.

Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans.

Work with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field.

0–2 years experience.

Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings.

Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming.

Technical writing skills to document investigation results.

Travel & Physical Requirements

Ability to travel.

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb; other physical requirements as needed.

Preferred Experience

Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry.

Knowledge of GDT.

Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems.

Compensation

$65,000 to $80,000 annually, with bonus/incentive pay eligibility. Salary range may be modified in the future.
