As a Procurement Specialist at BDC Laboratories, you'll be at the forefront of developing strategic partnerships with suppliers to achieve exceptional performance levels. Your expertise will shine as you establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance while implementing best practices that elevate our procurement processes. With strategic thinking and tactical actions, you'll examine bids, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and award purchase orders that align with our dynamic business needs. Collaboration with vendors is key, as you’ll manage priorities, monitor job statuses, and track delivery performances, all while adhering to safety guidelines and business ethics.

What We're Looking For In a Procurement Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in a related business area is preferred.

5+ years Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Planning and Management experience

3+ years Procurement

Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, commercial agreements, and supplier performance management.

Experience in a dynamic electro-mechanical box build manufacturing environments highly desirable

Proficient with MS Office Suite Tools: Word Excel, etc.

Ability to understand and interpret production build demand/forecast to develop procurement strategies and schedules to support growing business requirements.

High level of organizational skills for efficient execution of procurement responsibilities.
