Registered Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for an acute care hospital. Will cover intensive care, emergency department, medical-surgical, and neonatal intensive care units if qualified. Facility includes multiple intensive care units and operates with 7-10 respiratory therapists based on patient census. Skills required include knowledge of advanced respiratory therapies and equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula. Experience with interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential. Candidates must be proficient in performing tracheostomy care and management, extubation, and troubleshooting mechanical ventilation issues. Candidates should possess knowledge of various respiratory medications and therapies. Allowances for floating may be requested based on facility needs.
