Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The CMA will be responsible for both clinical and administrative duties, including patient intake, vital signs collection, documentation, appointment coordination, and assisting with minor procedures. Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.

Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Perform routine clinical procedures such as EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.

Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.

Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care instructions.

Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and organizational policies.

Collaborate effectively with providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

High school diploma or GED required.

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent certification required.

Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred.

Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
