Position Overview:As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support design, fabrication, process development, and production readiness activities. This role involves CAD modeling, generating manufacturing documentation, developing tooling, supporting procurement, and contributing to advanced manufacturing technology initiatives.

Location:On-site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Your Day-to-Day as a Manufacturing Engineer:• Create 3D design models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD. • Provide engineering support for assembly, testing, and inspection activities. • Assist with development and qualification of advanced manufacturing technologies and new processes. • Support prototype and production equipment assembly. • Generate manufacturing routings, work instructions, and shop floor documentation. • Support procurement of mechanical components and control of tooling. • Provide hands-on support using shop equipment and tools. • Inspect and characterize components for process monitoring and improvements. • Support equipment selection, installation, and facility engineering activities.

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (ABET accredited). • Minimum of 7 years of related engineering experience. • Knowledge of wiring, mechanical systems, and CAD. • Experience designing complex electro/mechanical tools or systems. • S. citizen. • Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with advanced manufacturing or automation technologies. • Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
