The Central Technology Team within Arm develops key technologies which will form the foundation of future products.You will join a multinational, multifaceted, collaborative, and highly motivated Graphics Hardware Architecture team in Central Technology. You will help craft the direction of our world-leading Mali™ Graphics products. The Mali™ Graphics Processor is the #1 shipping GPU.Job Description:You will need to have architecture and hardware/software development skills, together with the capacity for creative thought. In this capacity, you can expect to collaborate with leading GPU Architects to build prototype architectural improvements, as well as validate and put forward innovative architecture ideas. Responsibilities:Your job responsibilities will be diverse including architecture, technology research, hands-on prototyping, experimental investigations, engaging with product groups, analyzing performance of various gaming and GPGPU workloads. Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree or applicable professional background with more than 6 years of industry experience, of which a minimum of 2 years includes GPU-related workMS degree and more than 4 years of related professional experience, with no less than 2 years dedicated to working with GPUsPhD degree with at least 2 years of experience working on GPUs (in either industry or academia)Knowledge of the graphics pipelineKnowledge of GPU architectures, including the fixed function units needed for graphics processingA clear grasp of the compromises involved between GPU and CPU architecturesA history of thinking creatively and communicating effectively, with a practical, organized and analytical approach to workA good academic experience and background in computer architectureA strong programming ability, with skills in C, C++, with the desire to learn new programming flowsAn ability to efficiently work with large codebases and debug complex problemsExcellent team working skills, self-motivated and results focusedDesired Skills and Experience:Previous experience in performance modeling or architectureBackground in developing timing-accurate simulatorsPerformance analysis of workloads to determine bottlenecks within the systemExperience in hardware/software codesign, particularly within GPU drivers and GPU interfacesSystem-level knowledge of how accelerators communicate and transfer data with the host CPUIn Return:You will collaborate with specialists in GPU architecture and have the chance to suggest new concepts, submit patents, and quickly progress in your professional journey!Although this is not an exhaustive list, examples of support include breaks between interviews, having documents read aloud, or office accessibility.
