CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Job Description

Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal parts
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
Create and edit CNC programs using G-code and CAM software
Select proper tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for production runs
Perform machine setups including tool changes, calibration, and first article inspections
Monitor machine operations and make program adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and machine malfunctions to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with quality standards
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC lathe machines
Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming principles
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges
Familiarity with CAM software and CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Okuma
Ability to set up tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets independently
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of metal machining processes, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality and workplace safety
Additional Information
Pay rate: $23-DOE /Hour +
Pay range: $23-$85 (We are required by law to list highest paid employee)
