Job Summary

Telemetry (TELE) registered nurses are needed in an observation unit within a healthcare providers facility. This role involves managing adult patient populations with cardiac telemetry and short-stay observation patients, with a target length of stay of less than 30 hours. The position requires current licensure, BLS certification, and at least two years of recent experience in medical-surgical telemetery, emergency department, or intensive care units.

Job Details

Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN); BLS certification; minimum of two years of recent experience in medical-surgical telemetery, emergency department, or intensive care units; experience in dysrhythmia management; NIHSS certification preferred.

Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Certifications: Current RN license, BLS.

Required experience: 2 years in MS/Tele, ED or IMC settings.

Preferred qualifications: EPIC experience; 1-2 previous travel assignments.

Responsibilities include managing adult patients in a short stay observation setting, with a focus on cardiac telemetry and rapid patient turnover.

Float rotation may be required to ensure coverage within the skill set.
