Laundry, Housekeeping & Janitorial Aide – Part-Time Visalia Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Laundry, Housekeeping & Janitorial Aide to join our environmental services team. This position helps maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Pay Range $17.48–$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.

Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, handrails, and frequently touched surfaces.

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility linens.

Properly label, handle, and return resident clothing and personal laundry.

Maintain laundry rooms, housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Follow infection control, sanitation, chemical safety, and facility procedures.

Use caution signs and appropriate safety measures when cleaning.

Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Assist with additional housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial duties as assigned.

Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift supplies throughout the shift.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
