Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN- Locum

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum opportunity in New York with a structured 24-hour call schedule and a diverse mix of obstetric and gynecologic cases.
Location: New York
️ Assignment Details:
Start Date: April 2026
Duration: 8 weeks
Specific coverage blocks available (flexibility preferred)
Schedule:
- 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM 7:00 PM)
- First call coverage
- Mix of day and night shifts
- Preference for continuous coverage blocks
Practice Setting:
- Hospital-based OB/GYN unit
- 94-bed facility
Scope of Work:
Manage OB/GYN patients across:
Labor & Delivery
Gynecologic procedures
Procedures include:
Vaginal deliveries (SVD & operative)
Cesarean sections
D&C / D&E
Circumcisions
Laparoscopic, robotic & abdominal GYN surgeries
~ Patient volume: 0 10 patients per day
️ Support Staff:
RNs (day & night coverage)
CNAs, clerks
Anesthesiologist on call at all times
Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN
Active New York medical license (required)
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Additional Details:
EMR: Epic
Orientation: Billable
No telehealth required
