Special Education Teacher for Middle School and High School

Are you a passionate and proactive Special Education Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support middle and high school students (Grades 6-12) in a dynamic educational environment in the Bronx, NY.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a hands-on educator who takes initiative, actively engages with students, collaborates effectively with staff, and creates a supportive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth. We are looking for professionals who are enthusiastic about teaching and are not afraid to jump in and make a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support to students in Grades 6-12.
Develop and implement educational strategies that meet individual student needs.
Maintain an engaging, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success.
Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
Foster positive relationships with students and encourage active participation in learning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
New York State Certification in Special Education
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Special Education teaching experience
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Self-motivated, proactive, and student-focused mindset
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Duration: August 2026 through June 2027
Professional Expectations
Professional attire is required daily. Candidates should present a polished, professional appearance while on campus.
