As a Security Officer Entry Monitor Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108) Valid Driver's License
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor processing, and document security-related access activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas and critical access points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Support screening and vehicle access procedures for deliveries, contractors, and personnel, helping to uphold controlled entry standards and orderly site operations.
Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
