QA Engineering in Testing

Quality Engineer Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of enterprise applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross‑functional teams while leveraging modern automation and AI‑assisted testing practices to improve software quality and delivery speed. The ideal candidate has experience with test automation, API testing, SQL validation, and Agile development methodologies, along with an interest in utilizing AI technologies to enhance testing effectiveness.

Responsibilities Review business and technical requirements to create test plans, test cases, and testing strategies

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support regression and release testing

Perform manual and automated testing across multiple applications and platforms

Execute API, web services, and backend/database validation testing

Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Managers throughout the development lifecycle

Utilize Generative AI tools to assist with test case creation, test data generation, risk identification, and automation development

Apply AI‑assisted techniques to improve test coverage and accelerate defect analysis

Identify defects, document findings, and support issue resolution efforts

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Stay current on emerging testing technologies, automation practices, and AI-driven testing approaches

Qualifications 4+ years of software delivery experience

2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, Software Testing, or Test Automation

Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks

Experience with SQL, backend validation, and API testing

Experience utilizing Generative AI tools within testing workflows

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles

Experience working in Agile environments

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry

Experience with Agentic AI testing tools

Additional experience with advanced automation frameworks and modern testing practices
