Factory Material Handler (Warehouse)

Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesHandles, distributes, and transfers material and equipment to maintain efficient material flow through the factory.Performs manual and routine administrative duties in receiving, packing, shipping, and warehousing.Physically transfers material utilizing handling equipment including forklifts, dollies, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.Serves as an active member of the team and meets requirements to ensure efficient operation of the shipping/receiving area.Ability to read and interpret specifications, maintain records, and use material measurement equipment.Two to three years of experience in a related shipping, receiving, stockroom, or warehouse environment.Experience handling customs issues associated with international shipments is a plus.Experience packaging material shipments and preparing appropriate paperwork is a plus.Must be customer-service oriented.Ability to work independently and under limited supervision.Ability to read, understand, and speak English.Strong attention to detail and product quality.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.Experience using ERP systems and WMS software is preferred.Working ConditionsOffice, warehouse, and manufacturing/factory environment.Safety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
