Echocardiographer Part Time Day Shift

KHC Echocardiographer Internal Only Department Only Facility Kootenai Heart Clinics
Schedule/Shift/Hours Full Time - Days - 10 Hour Shifts
Performs echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment in accordance with established practices and procedures for Kootenai Heart Clinics.
Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations
Consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements
Calibrate and maintains equipment when needed, maintains operational logs
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree (AAS) or equivalent, from a CAAHEP accredited college or technical school in Echocardiography or; experience and training necessary for designation of “Registry Eligible” in Echocardiography required
Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
Typical equipment used in a clinical job
Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
