Description of Responsibilities

Conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Ensure the utmost comfort and safety of patients during examinations, explaining each procedure with empathy and transparency
Collaborate efficiently with radiologists and referring physicians to produce outstanding diagnostic images
Operate and oversee imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures within the electronic medical records system
Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and professional practices
Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
