Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Content Editor to support our client’s editing requirements. If you have strong editing skills, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security.

Analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support and ensure administrative and production on requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met.

Read and evaluate intelligence products and ensure defense tradecraft standards are met.

Confer with authors to recommend treatment of material.

Perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite, as necessary, and edit copy.

3+ years of experience with editing and written document production

3+ years of experience with intelligence production

Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications

Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities

Normal office environment.

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $68,000.00 to $72,000.00 (annualized USD).
