What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals living in community-based residential settings.

Responsibilities Provide person-centered support in accordance with Individual Support Plans (ISP)

Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence

Support activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks

Encourage participation in recreational, educational, and community activities

Provide transportation to appointments, community outings, and other essential activities

Assist individuals in accessing community resources and services

Implement behavioral support strategies and residential interventions as directed

Collaborate with supervisors, clinical teams, families, and other service providers

Flexible and adaptable

Dedicated to helping others succeed

QualificationsRequired No prior DSP experience required. Paid training provided.

High School Diploma or GED

Basic computer skills, including email and electronic documentation

Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field

Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

Experience in behavioral health, social services, residential care, caregiving, or direct support roles

Schedule Full-Time

Flexible scheduling available

Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on program needs

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
