AM Host - Urgently Hiring

In alignment with Metrotainment Cafes Core Values, executes our “4 steps seating sequence” with a level of welcoming hospitality that exceeds guest expectations every time and delivers on our Mission Statement to Make All Our Stakeholders Happy. Ensures that the host stand is stocked and set up to receive guests.

Exercises awareness regarding any special guest needs/seating requirements. (Kid’s Menus, High Chair, Handicap Access Etc.)

Assists with “building” tables for large parties.

Always answers telephone with a “smile” and uses name in greeting.

Actively participates in team service by running food and beverages to tables/bar stools

Utilizes outstanding product knowledge to confidently suggest specific food & beverage items to guests.

Immediately notifies management of any complaint or issue verbalized by a guest.

Assists in maintaining restrooms by stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.

Accurately completes end of shift cash-out procedures.

Checks out with Management at conclusion of shift to ensure all duties & sidework have been completed to standard.

Performs additional tasks & projects as assigned.

Understands and adheres to all safety, sanitation and administrative procedures.

Able to effectively speak, read & write in English.

Meets minimum age and permit requirements for serving alcohol.
