Dietary Aide - Part-Time

Colonial Nursing and Rehab | Crown Point, IN

Colonial Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility in Crown Point, IN.

In this role, you will work alongside other dietary and healthcare professionals to assist with food service operations in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures while helping ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Shift Available

• Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals in a timely and professional manner
• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment
• Assist the cook with meal preparation as directed
• Serve food trays from carts and dining areas and transport used trays to the dishwashing area
• Follow all dietary, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
