Licensed Practical Nurse

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team!

This position offers support to our nurses. In addition to the usual LPN roles of giving medicine, observing patients and helping with diagnostic tests. Because of their specialized knowledge on the care of cancer patients, oncology LPN's often serve as resources to other staff members. LPN work can be physically taxing, and you risk injury from lifting patients and moving equipment.

Licensed practical nurses (LPN) shall be responsible for:

Assisting the Triage Nurse with Triage calls

Helping with nurse scheduling

Lab draws

Drawing labs from PICC lines and Central lines

Line care (dressing, changing and flushing of PICC & Central lines)

Graduate of an accredited LPN program. Current LPN licensure in the state of Idaho. Experience: Previous LPN Experience preferred.

Equipment/Technology: Basic computer knowledge. Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Mountain View Hospital
