Physiatrist (PT)

Responsibilities:
Assess students' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy to improve gross motor skills, mobility, and overall function
Collaborate with teachers and families to support student needs and goals
Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with physical challenges
Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Adapt classroom environments and materials to promote accessibility
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for support
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Active Georgia Physical Therapist PT license
Current BLS / CPR Certification
Ability to work effectively in a School setting
Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
One or more years of experience in a School setting
Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
Job details:
Pay: $2,284.81 - $2,355.48 / week
Shift: Day - up to 39.50 hours per week
