COOK - HOURLY (FULL-TIME)

Full-Time Cook
Patriots Glen is looking for a full-time cook to join their close-knit assisted living community in the Lake Hills of Bellevue. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals that support the health and happiness of our residents. Pay is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE. Full time. Monday-Friday. Washington state food handlers permit required (can obtain when hired). Prepare a variety of fresh meals based on daily menus and the dietary needs of residents.
Interact with residents on a daily basis to ascertain their views, suggestions and concerns on meals served at the direction of Food Service Director.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized and fully stocked.
Properly store, label and rotate food to maintain quality and safety standards
Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
Support teammates to keep the kitchen running effective and positively.
Take pride in every plate that is sent out to ensure mealtime is a highlight for residents.
Obtain and maintain a Washington state food handlers permit.
Must possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices and special diets.
At least 1 year of experience working in a food service setting.
Ability to follow recipes, read instructions and communicate in English.
