Professional Security Officer

Wage: $16.00-16.50 per hour

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills

Ability to conduct patrols

Strong technology skills, including proficiency with cell phones and computers

Prior security experience preferred

Driver Certification required

Must be available to work 2nd shift

Security Officer / Guard

Security positions are full and part‑time.

Excellent customer service skills required.

Require passing a drug screen and background check.

Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.

Job Requirements

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Some positions may provide access to earned wages on a daily basis prior to payday, subject to restrictions and fees. Certain waiting periods may apply. Paid time off may be available under a PTO policy or through vacation/sick time, depending on local requirements. Benefits may differ for union members.
