HR Generalist

Darigold is looking for a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our HR field team based in the Treasure Valley. This role will serve Darigold locations in Idaho and Montana. The HRG supports the employee lifecycle, which starts with the onboarding & orientation process, and they serve as a resource for employees and managers at all levels of the organization in responding to HR questions. They are responsible for completing a variety of tasks to assist the daily operations of the HR department, such as ensuring our HRIS system is accurately updated with employee information, administering HR & compliance processes, drafting templates for HR documents, and conducting exit interviews.

HR Lifecycle: Help create organizational guidelines and maintain updated processes. Update records to accommodate new hires. Coordinate with internal resources (IT, Office Services, Hiring Manager, Safety, Quality). Processes employee promotions, transfers, and changes for employees, coordinating with corporate HR teams and business. Supports employee terminations by writing termination letters to employees, sending required notices, and conducting exit interviews. Completes annual required compliance trainings (EEO, FCPA, safety vehicle training), and professional development training programs. Pull reports to share data on town halls or with managers. Completes regular audits of HR data and files, including but not limited to I-9, FLSA, and salary grade. Maintains HR Team Resources on SharePoint, including development and maintenance of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Partner with corporate HR teams to implement key company initiatives. Participate in meetings with business leaders and employees representing the HR team and providing updates on key HR projects such as performance review, employee survey, and listening to employees' feedback regarding their experience working at Darigold. Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on site location, as well as sharing best practices with the rest of the team. Collaborates with the plant management team to track temporary employees, follows up with managers to ensure timely termination and deprovisioning of accounts.

Other HR Support: Provides support for special projects. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Maintains confidential and sensitive information. Commitment to high-quality work. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. The ability to travel up to 20% of the time is required.

Education, Experience and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least 2 to 3 years of experience supporting human resources or related programs required. Comprehensive medical, dental & vision benefits
