Assembly Welder, Production Welding

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using a variety of welding techniques to ensure precision, durability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and safety across our manufacturing operations. As a key contributor on the production floor, you will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams to deliver high-quality welded assemblies that meet exacting specifications. Perform welding operations using various techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding as required by job specifications.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding procedures, joint types, and material requirements.

Prepare workpieces by cleaning, aligning, and securing materials using clamps, jigs, or fixtures.

Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.

Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of flammable materials.

Document welding procedures, inspection results, and maintenance logs in compliance with quality management systems.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues and improve workflow efficiency.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety training programs.

High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) required.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods and quality inspection tools (e.g., Knowledge of ANSI, AWS, and ASME welding codes and standards.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, as needed to meet production demands.
