Veterinary Hospital- Full time/ Part Time Vet Position

Spoon River Animal Clinic is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our team of pet superheroes! Enjoy the variety of practicing mixed animal medicine while providing exceptional care to companion animals, equine patients, and livestock throughout the Canton community and surrounding rural areas.

Schedule: Full-time preferred (part-time considered), Four-day work week (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), rotating every third Saturday (8:00 AM–12:00 PM), with a dedicated lunch break from 12:00 PM–1:30 PM
Practice True Mixed Animal Medicine: Enjoy a diverse caseload treating dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, small ruminants, and occasional exotics. From preventive care and surgery to herd health consultations, equine dentistry, and farm calls, you'll practice the variety that makes mixed animal medicine so rewarding.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution
Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
