Job Description Position: Level 4 RN – Operating Room (Contract)
Location: NY 14642
Pay: $2,070 – $2,322/week
Contract Duration:
~05/25/2026 – 08/22/2026 (13 weeks )
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night)
- On-call & callback required
- Floating, weekends, and holidays per unit needs
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Provide circulating and scrub RN duties in OR setting
Support surgical services: ortho, general, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ENT, GYN, thoracic, trauma, ophthalmic, OMFS
Assist with complex cases including transplants (liver, kidney, heart) and robotics (DaVinci systems)
Monitor telemetry and patient status during perioperative care
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams in Level 1 trauma environment
Ensure adherence to sterile technique, safety, and OR protocols
Participate in emergency and high-acuity surgical cases
Requirements
Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
BLS Certification ( AHA only )
ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years OR experience (Level 1 trauma preferred)
Ability to scrub and circulate required
Telemetry experience required
Strong orthopedic and complex surgical experience preferred
Comfortable in high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment
