The role involves full ownership of custom SRAM and Register File designs from schematic capture to analysis and model generation.QualificationsBA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of practical experienceExperience with designing SRAM circuitsExperience in industry standard custom design tools and flowsExperience with circuit simulation and monte carlo analysis.Experience with static timing analysis.Preferred QualificationsMS degree in Electrical Engineering; 3+ years of practical experienceStrong knowledge of SRAM and Register File techniques with advanced custom circuit implementationsStrong knowledge of high-performance and low-power design features and techniquesStrong knowledge of semiconductor device fundamentalsFamiliar with variation-aware simulation in FinFet and Nanosheet technology nodesExperience with custom memory layout designsExperience with all memory analysis steps including design entry, functional verification, layout guidance, simulation, timing, power and electrical characterization.Good understanding of physical implementation impact on circuit performanceProficiency with the following tools: NanoTime, Ansys EMIR analysis, ESP-CV, Liberate power analysisExperience with memory logical models (Verilog) and functional verification.Experience with memory analysis flow development and planning.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop custom digital circuits for high-speed and low-power SRAM designsSchematic captureLayout planning and supervisionFunctional verificationSimulation and margin verificationTiming characterizationPerforming analysis steps necessary to generate all deliverable collateral modelsInteracting with CAD team to ensure proper and efficient model generationInteracting with Physical Design team resolve memory PPA challengesDepending on skill set, aid the team with contributions to modeling, DFT and/or analysis flow development.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.ORPhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.If you are an individual with a disability and need an accommodation during the application/hiring process, rest assured that Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process.
