Night Shift - Emergency Department (ER) RN

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care for patients in the emergency department, demonstrating strong clinical skills and effective decision-making in high-pressure situations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health regulations.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Experience: Prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred.Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at the time of hire is required.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required at the time of hire.Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certified within one year of hire is required.Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation is required.Completion of a Critical Care Course within one year of hire is required for Critical Care Units.Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within six months of hire is required.Shift RequirementsThis position requires the flexibility to work night shifts, with a commitment of 36-48 hours per week.Additional InformationWe value the contributions of our nursing staff and provide ongoing education and certification opportunities to foster growth and enhance patient care.
