You will ensure that all materials are brought into The Bernard Group are correctly accounted for and that all materials used for jobs are removed correctly.Shifts available: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMA variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:a High School diploma or GED5 years experience in fulfillment or warehouse environment2 years experience in lead or supervisor role2 years experience using ERP or WMS (Warehouse Management System) software as it relates to Primary Responsibilities listed aboveOn top of that you must:have excellent communication skills with peers purchasing department internal and external customers and vendorsbe extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervisionhave the ability to use data to resolve problems such as inventory shortages vendor out of stock and other related issueshave the ability to use spreadsheets to compile data and present it in a manner that is understandable to people at all levels within the organizationbe able to perform basic mathematical calculationsfoster strong working relationships both inside and outside the companytrack trends within data sets to ensure we are taking a proactive approach to resolving issueshave prior work experience with databases and spreadsheets or google sheetshave strong computer skillspossess strong analytical time management and problem solving skillshave excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitaskIn this position, you will respond in a timely manner to:material heads-up request from planningreplenishment of material based on kanban cards from the production floorerrored material pulls within the erp systemwork with purchasing and planning on material requirementsupdate inventory control manager on critical issues that need escalationwork with receiving/materials department on material needswork with production team on ad-hoc material requestswork with planning on correct material allocationassist receiving team with material movementsparticipate in monthly physical inventory projects(Finished Goods)in-bound material for job demand is processed correctlyall inventory transactions for material usage are processed correctly to include corrections made when errors are foundeffective communication of all task hand-off activities to internal customersthe conversion of material from one form factor to another form factorexample: kits to components boards to panels and rolls to boardsmaintaining the accuracy of perpetual to physical countsapplication of industry best practices as it applies to storage and handling of material after received and prior to picking for shipmentcompletion of all other tasks assigned or apparent(Enterprise Resource Planning -ERP System, currently: EFI-PACE)manage the accuracy of the erp inventory item ids at the item detail levelwork with departments to ensure material details meet their needsmanage the accuracy of the ERP perpetual inventory valueswork with departments to ensure material is being moved consumed and staged correctly(Collaterate -in-house customer facing order entry application)work with systems team to ensure the correct materials are represented in collaterateutilize collaterate to gain insight into other material demandsTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
