Description

Position Summary LPN provides direct care to patients and works closely with a Registered Nurse (RN), often supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).

Directly assists with all areas of patients’ daily living needs, ensuring comfort and well‑being.

Learn and use Athena clinical EMR.

Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care.

Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.

Adheres to clinic and company policies and procedures.

Learn basic patient triage and computer input.

Implement patient care plans, including blood draws and immunizations.

Identify patients using ID, documents or two patient identifiers (e.g., name & DOB).

Determine the correct venipuncture method based on patient age and health.

Assist providers during examinations and procedures.

Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice.

Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.

Ensure patient confidentiality.

Keep work area clean.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Familiarity with computer and relevant software applications.

Aware of general administrative and clerical procedures.

Good interpersonal skills and communication.

Ability to multitask.

Able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift.

Experience & Education LPN or RN certification.

1-3 years of experience.

Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for extended periods, stand, walk occasionally, reach, and manipulate objects with hands (e.g., keyboard). Requires good vision for reading computer screens and the ability to hear clearly to answer phone calls. Most positions may require lifting light items up to 10 pounds occasionally.
