The position is responsible for assisting bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the shift, with required availability on weekends. The primary role is to provide support and help maintain the bar's functionality and cleanliness.Benefits: The Good StuffMedical insurance benefits are available for hourly workers averaging 30 hours per week within 90 days of hiring or at the next open enrollment.Experience and Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant and bar experience.Fun, energetic, and work with a genuine care for the guest experienceMust be able to read and speak English; bilingual Spanish speaking is a plusAbility to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.Maintain current Food Handler's and State Alcohol Serving certifications (upon hire).Practice proper sanitation procedures and adhere to regulations regarding alcohol sales and service. Must be available to work a variety of shifts: days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and various holidaysAble to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktailsProperly use a knife and other kitchen equipment.Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.Maintain a clean and well-organized bar.Stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware throughout the shiftProper labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepped items in the bar.Preparing fruits and other garnishesAssists the bartender in greeting guests and welcomes them upon arrivalConsistently uses all bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products following State Health Department Standards.Set up the team for success in the next shift.Stocking Supplies: Customer Service: Additional Duties: Assist with dishwashing, side station maintenance, and other tasks needed to support restaurant operations.As part of our commitment to maintaining a legal workforce, we verify the employment eligibility of all new hires through E-Verify.
