Line Cook
Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Parry's recipes, standards, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with the BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
Line Cooks play a direct role in food quality, guest satisfaction, and overall shift success.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and cook menu items by following recipes and spec standards
Execute orders accurately and within expected ticket times
Understand portion sizes, taste profiles, and visual presentation expectations
Label, date, and store all food items properly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation practices consistently
Communicate clearly with teammates during high-volume service
Support BOH flow by assisting with dishes, cleanup, and prep as needed
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency

Prepare and cook dishes following recipes and portion standards
Execute orders with precision and within expected ticket times
Understand portion sizes, flavor profiles, and visual presentation
Label, date, and store all food items correctly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
Consistently comply with food safety and sanitation practices
Communicate clearly with the team during high-volume service
Support BOH flow by helping with cleaning, dishwashing, and preparation as needed
Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or consistency
Qualifications + Skills
BOH restaurant experience (minimum 1 year)
Ability to work nights and weekends
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
Reliable, professional, and focused under pressure
Willingness to learn, take coaching, and grow within the role
