Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence‑based practice.

Ensures individualized care through effective partnerships and acknowledges that caring is central to optimal patient outcomes.

Provides relationship‑based, patient‑centered care accommodating cultural diversity.

Partners with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods (bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, patient teaching).

Promotes teamwork and collaboration, coordinating safe, quality patient care and documentation.

Participates in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance.

Engages in evidence‑based practice and nursing research activities.

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

Preferred: RN – Multi‑state Compact certification.

Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.

Bachelor’s Degree, Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN), from an accredited school.

Licensed RN (single state) and RN – Multi‑state Compact.

Knowledge of nursing theory, regulations, and practices.

Efficient execution of duties and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.

Calm, competent response in emergency situations.

Clear communication – verbal, written, and phone.
