Project Manager

Immediate need for a talented Project Manager with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 13 + Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX. Manage communications, meetings, project implementation activities and risk.

Build out and manage project plan according to different work streams, including detailed technology and business tasks, resources and dependencies.

Manage internal resources and multiple vendors across work streams simultaneously.

Create project artifacts that include but not limited to Project Charter, Business Case, Testing Plans, Scope inventory, RFPs and SOWs.

Manage control scope changes and factors which may impair the value of the project.

Establish and maintain all project documentation in its system of record.

Mitigate risks and issues and manage proactive escalations.

Manage budget and maintain accurate cost and schedule forecasts.

Strong MS Project experience.

Strong technology background (requirements, application management, maintenance, operations, migrations and upgrades).

Experience in managing all phases of the SDLC.

Leadership qualities that can move the team to a common vision and decision, effective at setting directions and building effective teams.

Ability to apply and drive projects using agile project management methodologies.

Financial management skills including forecasting and budgets.

Agile project management methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or other related discipline.

Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.

Experience as a project manager in Automotive or Financial industry.

PMP preferred.

Agile project management certification.
