The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Job Summary Simon Says Early Childhood Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of young children. This role requires a passionate educator who can foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff while promoting a love of learning through hands‑on and play‑based experiences.

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured and child‑led activities.

Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to provide high‑quality educational experiences.

Prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and instructional resources.

Ensure compliance with all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety standards.

Support children's development of early literacy, math, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as needed.

Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children in a childcare center, preschool, or early learning environment preferred.

Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all children.

Passion for early childhood education and helping young learners reach their full potential.
