Pediatric Physician of Developmental Medicine

Position Overview
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full‑time Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.

Responsibilities

Clinical care and teaching of developmental behavioral pediatrics for ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, emotional disorders, and intellectual disability in child and adolescent populations.

Provide outpatient care to diverse patient populations, including underserved, lower socio‑economic, and immigrant families.

Supervise and mentor medical students and residents, and provide didactic teaching and guest lectures.

Engage in research, curriculum development, quality improvement, and growth in clinical research skills.

Qualifications

BE/BC pediatrician with experience in inpatient pediatrics and/or BE/BC pediatric hospitalist.

Valid New York State license and DEA registration.

Strong educational background with an interest in professional development and ongoing medical education.

Benefits and Compensation
Salary range $180,000-$185,000 plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. Faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience, and qualifications.
