Morrison Healthcare employs a Float Dietitian in Johnson City, TN to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education across multiple facilities within the Ballad Health System.

Ballad Health System – Johnson City, TN

Schedule

Monday to Friday, no weekend shifts.

Requirement

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Valid Tennessee Dietitian licensure

Position Details

As a multi‑site dietitian, you will support patients in diverse care environments, offering evidence‑based nutrition care and education to patients, families, staff, and the community.

Compensation

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000

Job Summary

Provide acute‑care Medical Nutrition Therapy and educational support, collaborating with clinical teams to enhance patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans

Offer guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to patients, families, staff, and the community

Apply the latest research and diet manuals in evidence‑based practice

Participate in Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives (QAPI)

Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction and service goals

Mentor staff and dietetic interns through education and training

What We’re Looking For

RDN or CDR exam eligible

Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or willing to obtain licensure

Preferred healthcare experience; new graduates with strong clinical training are welcome
