Mixed ICU and IMC level of care. We have a highly experienced staff with great teaching skills to help grow new nurses into the field.

We enjoy a great relationship with our intensivists who work closely with nurses, pharmacy, case management and hospitalists to ensure our patients have the best outcome.

Many of the ICU nurses have greater than 10 yrs. of varying ICU experience.

The ICU focuses on clinical advancement and positive patient outcomes by utilizing the expertise of the bedside nurses to act as champions in an area of their choosing. This helps to raise engaged nurses who have a positive impact on our patients

The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.

Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.

Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.

Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.

Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.

Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.

Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.

Field of Study: The applicable major should be nursing.
