This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan in a Magnet-designated, teaching acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center while building valuable emergency nursing experience. Travel Nursing Job Details
Emergency Room Nursing / Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070–$2,180

Schedule: 3 shifts per week

Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–Weekend Coverage: Department Profile: 72-bed Emergency Department with approximately 270–300 patient visits per day

Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Charting: Cerner experience required

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California; At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience

Previous Level II or Level III Trauma Center experience required

Emergency Department triage experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required; Community hospital experience required

Experience with emergency nursing skills, including dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, and isolation precautions

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
Provide timely, compassionate nursing care to a diverse Emergency Department patient population across the lifespan

Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and support Emergency Department triage operations

Provide central line care and manage patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, or mechanical ventilation

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner

Apply appropriate isolation precautions and personal protective equipment

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, phlebotomy, social services, unit support staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Deliver safe, efficient emergency nursing care while supporting high-volume department patient flow
