Job Description Palmetto Electric Group is a fast-growing, family-owned electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and light industrial clients throughout the Midlands of South Carolina.

Service upgrades & panel replacements
Generator installations (standby & portable systems)
Troubleshooting & service work
New circuits, lighting installs, EV chargers

We are looking for a dependable, skilled electrician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work and strong customer communication.
The Electrician will perform residential and light commercial electrical installations, service work, troubleshooting, and generator installations in accordance with NEC and local code requirements.

This position requires someone who can work independently, manage job tasks efficiently, and represent the company professionally in the field.

Install and troubleshoot electrical systems (120/240V single-phase primarily)
Diagnose electrical issues and provide repair solutions
Ensure all work meets NEC and local AHJ requirements
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Communicate clearly with homeowners and project managers
3+ years field experience preferred
~ Generator installations (Generac, portable inlet/interlock systems)

Leading a helper/apprentice
