Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Unit Full Time Night shift

Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
The Cardiac Tele Short Stay Unit is a low acuity unit that monitors and evaluates patients for an observation period of up to 16 hours. If you enjoy a fast-paced, hospital-based patient care environment, this may be the unit for you!

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Tele Short Stay Unit
Full Time
every other weekend and rotating holidays required
Required Travel: May float to other inpatient units as needed.
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice.
Integrates evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice.
Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care.
Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
At least one year of experience as a staff nurse preferred
Critical Care experience is preferred
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
Current Illinois Nursing licensure
PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements
