Shift:
Night (United States of America)
Assists higher-trained personnel in providing effective care. Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, families, bystanders, and other response agency personnel. Supports community service and relationship functions as requested by leadership. Maintains a safe and effective work environment by adhering to infection control standards. Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and other emergency responders. Ensures the ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for use at all times. Follows established policies, procedures, guidelines, medical protocols, and safety standards. Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls to provide care to ill and injured patients. Performs assessments and applies methods of treatment and transport based on medical protocols. Operates the ambulance safely and professionally, obeying traffic rules and regulations. Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess whether patients have pre-existing medical conditions
- Ability to identify and treat life-threatening conditions within the paramedic's field of practice
- Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to react calmly and effectively in the most critical situations
- Ability to utilize and adapt to state-of-the-art technology, computer systems, and computer applications
- Emergency vehicle operations (Preferred)
