Operating Room RN

CVOR RN

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
CVOR Surgical Tech
Hybrid Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
Surgical Assistant (SA)
2-3 years acute care OR experience required
~ Patient Population & Surgical Specialties
The surgical department handles high-acuity and trauma cases including:
General surgery
Gynecology
Urology
Orthopedics
Neurosurgery
Robotic surgery
Vascular surgery
Open heart surgery
The facility also participates in organ donation procedures through
Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network .

OR RN / CVOR RN

~ Certified Surgical Technologist

Siemens imaging equipment experience required
Surgical Assistant

OR RN

EPIC experience required
Critical care background preferred

CVOR RN

Scrub and circulate adult or pediatric open-heart cases
Critical care experience
EPIC experience required
Unit Support Structure
The surgical department has strong clinical support including:

Charge Nurse (no patient assignment during weekdays)
Resource Nurse
Anesthesiologists providing bedside monitoring
Surgeons with detailed preference cards
Assistant Nurse Managers (ANM)
EPIC super-users for technical support

Shift Options
3 × 12-hour shifts

• 2 × 12-hour + 2 × 8-hour shifts
• 5 × 8-hour shifts

Example shift times:
~8-10 hour shifts

Monday-Friday: 07:30 - 23:00
After 23:00 skeleton crew for trauma/urgent cases
Weekend OR Hours
~After 17:00 skeleton crew

Weekend Rotation
~ Every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

Depends on service line and shift
~No self-scheduling (assigned by rotation)

Holiday Coverage

~ Holiday shifts required

Experienced OR or CVOR professionals comfortable working in a high-acuity Level I trauma surgical environment with complex cardiovascular and transplant procedures .
