In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed providers. You will be at the forefront of working closely with healthcare professionals and patients to optimize treatment outcomes. If you have a passion for patient safety, a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply and become a vital part of our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.This position is located at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City.Providing general nursing care to patients in accordance with provider orders and nursing standardsAdministering prescribed medications, injections, and treatments safely and accuratelyPerform routine diagnostic tests and procedures, including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, wound care, and sterile dressing changesCollecting, documenting, processing, and handling blood, urine, and other specimens per standing orders and provider directionPreparing patients for examinations and proceduresAssisting physicians and nurse practitioners during the examinations, treatments, and testingObserving, documenting, and reporting patient conditions, responses to medications, and treatment outcomesMaintaining accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Maintaining tracking and documentation for UDS, HEDIS, and care gap measuresParticipating in professional development and required trainingPreparing and maintaining exam roomsRequired Qualifications:Active Florida LPN licensureCurrent BLS CertificationExperience working in a pediatrics settingAt least 6 months of clinical nursing experienceStrong documentation and EMR proficiencyExcellent communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:At least 1 year of clinical nursing experiencePanCare provides a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, and vision insurance.
