Key Responsibilities of the RN Pediatric Pre-op
Assist in pre-operative assessments and preparations for pediatric patients
Ensure patient safety and comfort prior to surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed
Provide education and support to families regarding pre-operative procedures
Requirements of the RN Pediatric Pre-op
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
BLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing preferred
