RN Hospice

Immediate need for a talented RN Hospice. This is a 13+ weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Missoula MT (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Job ID:26-22014 Pay Range: Regular Pay: $20/hr Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1600.55/weekly Weekly Per Diem: $720 Weekly Gross Pay: $2,320.55 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Patient Care & Symptom Management

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, with a focus on comfort and symptom management.

Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.

Supervision & Delegation to CNAs

Provide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs to ensure quality personal care and adherence to patient care plans.

Delegate appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility) while ensuring safety and compassion.

Contribute to care planning, symptom management strategies, and family education.

Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.

Family & Caregiver Support

Help them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life care.

Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications.

Ensure all care aligns with regulatory and quality standards.

Infection Control & Safety

Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff

Shift: 7PM 7AM / 7AM 7PM

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours [Hours per Facility]

Current RN license (Compact or Montana)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg

Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs)
